WinLOGO: to change the Windows startup logo.
This program is a "bound" Windows and DOS
program (i.e., it contains both a DOS and
a Windows module, built into the .EXE file).
The Windows startup logo is just a bitmap
file in "RLE 4" format, which is built by
the Windows setup program into WIN.COM.
To change the Windows startup logo, all you
need to do is to create your own bitmap in
"RLE 4" format, and then select it from the
Winlogo menu. Winlogo does the rest - it
takes only about 1 second. Winlogo builds
a new Windows .COM file called WINCHG.COM.
Run this, instead of WIN.COM, and you will
see your new logo. It is as easy as that!
Winlogo is shareware. Registration costs
7.50 pounds Sterling; or $10.50 (U.S.).

right to left scripts.  While it can be used like a
simple editor, its whole purpose in life is to be used
with other Windows applications, such as word processors,

It lets you use your favourite Windows application to

the correct password has been entered. Nice

custom features including an option to turn wallpapers into a screen
saver.  Wallpaper images may be BMP, GIF, PCX, TIF, TGA.  ICO or JPG.
Full setup and context-sensitive help file included.  Named lists of
images may be maintained, with options set for each list.  Individual
images may be tiled or positioned on the screen.  Built in editor with
basic options, including cropping, resizing, and brightness/contrast
adjustments.  Single or Batch file conversion between supported
formats.  Unisys-licensed .GIF read and write.

Special requirements: VBRUN300.DLL

Changes: Provision for auto-scaling of images to screen size or 
user-set width & height.  Additional image editing functions: Gamma
adjustment, Sharpen, and Soften.  Code tightened to reduce resource 
usage.  Other minor improvements and bugfixes.
