From Tony Master@1:218/530 to All on Fri Sep 2 22:43:56 2016
i get this message from allfix. i am using the 6.x build it says:

    ? 02 Sep 18:28:41 AFIX Unable to open FDB : FSX_NODE

has any one had this issue? i do wish allfix added mystic support back in the day since it was active more the some of the legacy softwares.

this is a more complete description of the problem than you posted in the ALLFIX echo...

at a guess, i'd say that the file simply doesn't exist...

on my main system, with some 250-odd file echos, there are none, nada, zilch, zero *.fdb files for my file bases or ALLFIX to use...

what is different about that area's settings compared to the others?

i do wish allfix added mystic support back in the day since it was

mystic is a fast moving target... are its config files structures the same now as they were then? i suspect they are not the same and ALLFIX wouldn't be able to read them for the system and file area details...

yet it still has renegade and it was an older version. i don't see how they changed but allfix changed with the other software that were active..

but there are files in the file base.

that doesn't matter as ALLFIX doesn't work directly with mystic's filebases... the question is why does that FDB not exist if it is one of ALLFIX's?
are there other FDBs for the other file areas?
    did ALLFIX create them?
    how/when did it create them?
do you need to run FIXUTIL or maybe FCOMP??

what is different about that area's settings compared to the others?

support for older versions has not been removed AFAIK... more development was taking place back then, too... support for newer systems has not been added or if it has, it hasn't been for many... i still run the last v5 from harold, though...
