I've noticed that there isn't much activity in this echo. Is it because there is no stable BBS software for Linux? I'd really like to switch over from WinDoze to Linux, but hate to give up my BBS.

I've looked at Synchronet, but being new at Linux, don't know whether or not I could get it running.

EleBBS does fine on the 'telnet end', but the web-access still has problems. And then again, there is the problem of getting fidonet connections working.

No one is complaining about Linux software issues.

Thanks. I was afraid there was nothing available. Looks like I got some learning to do. :)

I tried to install it mbse on debian but I could not get it to work. So I am using BBBS version 4.X

MBSE has installed first time, every time on Debian, which is what I usually run it on, but it does not like it when user BBS has been created by other means than the MBSE install ... , just a "guess"

MBSE and Synchronet are probably your best bets.. I prefer Sync myself..
