I haven't done it myself but I believe synchronet supports nntp feeds
as well as users but I'm not sure how that is done.

Yes, newslink.js is what you need. :)

Newslink is basically the NNTP CLIENT that Synchronet uses to pull down newsgroup articles from upstream servers using the NNTP protocol. It
does not actually to the SERVING to clients IIRC.

Al did say "NNTP feeds", which to me sounds like pulling articles from a server, which you would use newslink.js for. :) As for users, well Synchronet supports them out of the box.

Yep, and for a server Synchronet has nntpservice.js so all the bases are covered if anyone wants to do it that way.

Synchronet does this as does other BBS software like Wildcat! 10.

There's a Wildcat 10? Is it as good as Mystic 10 More Cowbell edition?

It's an Alpha release. Only available to AUP subscribers. From what I
can tell, it's pretty snappy as far as response times go. Certain
    things respond faster than v8.

At the time I upgraded from WC 4.2 and PX/DOS 1.4 to WINServer 5.3 and
PX/WINS 2.0, the price was right for me, too: $95.00 USD to upgrade both
pieces of software. Since then, I save up for the cool stuff for WINS,
    like wcBASIC, wcReports, wcListServe :)
