• What way would YOU play a .WAV file on boot on an ArchLinuxBox?

I have a .WAV file that I'd like to play when Arch boots up.
Guess I could doso at OS selection, in the systemd/init sequence or when KDE/xorg loads up...

I guess I'd like it when KDE loads, so things can keep going as opposed to pausing for the 15 seconds in the init sequence or....

Anyway, how would YOU do this? Any extra tips; like it'd be great to be able to push a button and cancel it or mute it somehow, when desired.. I can think of one way but maybe all you great minds have a better idea.

YES; it's a sound of a dialup modem connection. :P

I would add a line to /etc/rc.local, or create a new systemd unit.

The line to /etc/rc.local could just be something like
    aplay soundfile.wav &
