Ummmmmmmmmm... okay but:
1. How to I home the cursor then move them to X,Y
2. Tell the board to place the cursor there and wait for input?
I feel like a total moron here... :o(
Go to Google and search for "ANSI.SYS escape codes".
But can't we play with it here?

"Esc"[r;cH Moves the cursor to line r and column c
If omitted, r and c both default to 0 (ie. the cursor "Esc"[r;cf moves to the top left corner of the screen)
r is the line number
c is the column number
n is an integer
"Esc"[nA Moves the cursor up n lines (or top of
screen)
"Esc"[nB Moves the cursor down n lines (or bottom of
screen)
"Esc"[nC Moves the cursor right n columns (or right hand
side of screen)
"Esc"[nD Moves the cursor left n columns (or left hand side of
screen)
"Esc"[s Saves current cursor position
"Esc"[u Restores cursor to previously saved position
